Two kit options for this month (January!), and they're terrific, easy and fun!
For the sewers, 'tis the season to be sneezing. Instead of keeping your tissues balled up in your pocket or at the bottom of your purse, how about a nifty tissue holder. It's cold outside (most places)! Your nose is runny! How about a tissue holder that's so cute it begs you to remember to bring it with you? It fits standard sized tissues, folded in half, and holds up to 50 tissues! The kit will provide you with fabric, trim, detailed instructions and a link to the online tutorial.
And, for the knitters amongst us ... well, sorry, but this month, you can give your fingers a rest. Instead of knitting a blanket/throw for some beloved recipient (yourself included, because you're beloved, too!) all you have to do is adorn. The kit includes wool coating fabric at 54" x 42", embroidery floss for blanket-stitching the edges (okay, your fingers will have to work on that one), and one skein of worsted weight yarn in a complimentary color for you to tassel the heck out of that blanket. Check out Make.Do.'s Facebook page for more details on each project, and to sign up to receive your kit!
